Walking

»And if there's chocolate without lunch, maybe there's walking without end?«

A toddler talks about his daily promenades, full of surprising discoveries. Until one day a promenade turns into an endless journey...

Emigration always implies drastic changes and often imposes some difficult decisions, on the one hand. On the other hand, there is a period of time, two and a half years, a rather short one, compared to a long human life. For a toddler, however, two and a half years refer to an entire life and gain an enormous significance.

How does a little child experience the process of emigration? »Walking« is a graphic work with an autobiographical reference which tries to answer this question and offers to an adult reader a long forgotten perspective on the matter, the one of a child.
